Courier tipping, the perfect way for customers to show their gratitude to the person bringing them what they’re longing for – some tasty food!
With online tipping your courier is rewarded for their hard work. Remember, rewarded couriers are happier couriers. But how do you know how much your couriers have earned?
Viewing your courier tips in your Restaurant Portal
Log into your Restaurant Portal and click on the ‘Reporting’ section at the top of the page.
There you will see a tab for ‘Tips’. Click on it and you will instantly see the tips your couriers have made for today.
You can also download an invoice specification to view tips paid over a certain day, week or month. As customers have the ability to pay tips up to 14 days after the order was placed, the file shows the date of tip payment, rather than the order date.
The invoice specification makes it easy for you to view how much your couriers earned in tips over a specific period. On the file you will find:
- How much, in tips, was received per order
- The order number
- Date of the order
- The total amount in tips was received for the week
Tip:
To make dividing tips as easy as possible you should set aside time every week to calculate tips for individual team members. You could also distribute the money equally among the courier team.
